VNA is proud to serve veterans in every stage of life whether through our parenting support programs, home health or end of life. It is our privilege to support our nation’s veterans in living healthier and independent lives.
Many VNA staff members and volunteers are veterans, which makes it extra special for them to serve clients who are veterans. For more than 120 years, we have helped build a stronger, healthier community through innovative in-home and community care programs delivered across the lifespan.
VNA is a member of the Nebraska Hospice-Veteran Partnership, which is an arm of the national Hospice Veteran Partnership initiative of the Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. As a member of the Nebraska Hospice-Veteran Partnership, VNA strives to ensure excellent care at the end of life for our nation’s veterans and to ensure support is available for their families.
Bob served in the 7th Army Symphony Orchestra from 1957-60, playing his cello with musicians throughout Europe. In cahoots with his wife, Rose, his VNA care team planned a surprise Veterans pinning ceremony.
