Fremont Health serves Dodge and surrounding counties in Nebraska. The health system is comprised of Fremont Health Medical Center, Fremont Health Foundation, Dunklau Gardens, and a number of physician and specialty clinics. VNA partners with Fremont Health to provide Home Care and Hospice Care Services.
Fremont Health is a nonprofit healthcare provider owned by Dodge County, chartered in 1940. It is governed by a seven member Board of Trustees appointed by the Dodge County Board of Supervisors. Fremont Health provides services from money generated from operations and donations made through the Fremont Health Foundation — without taxpayer or county funding.
Fremont Health has more than 100 active members of the medical staff practicing in nearly every medical specialty, roughly 25 of which are employed by Fremont Health. The health system employs more than 800 people and has over 200 volunteers.
