Bridget Elzey is the Vice President of Operations for VNA. She is responsible for developing and supporting the agency’s clinical infrastructure, including regulatory and quality initiatives, accreditation, scheduling, and technology.
Bridget has more than 29 years of nursing experience in varied settings. She has owned a board and care home for elderly adults and worked in different healthcare settings, including mental health, maternal child, acute care and home health.
Bridget started working at Visiting Nurse Association in 2002 as a home health nurse. After spending five years in the clinical field, she moved to the quality department for orientation and education of new clinical staff, Medicare regulations and CMS quality initiatives. She was later promoted to Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Manager.
Bridget received her ASN from the College of Saint Mary and her BSN from Western Governors University. She is a Certified OASIS Quality Specialist and a Gallup Engagement Champion. Bridget and her husband, Steve, have two children, Isaac and Bennett.
