We have two Grant Manager positions available.
At Visiting Nurse Association (VNA)/Easterseals Nebraska (ESN), we believe that everyone should have access to exceptional care and services so children, individuals, and families can thrive. As Grants Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the Fund Development Team, helping to identify operational and program needs, set fundraising goals, and develop strategies to achieve those objectives. You will write grants, manage funder relationships, and support special fundraising initiatives. Your work will directly impact the ability for those in our community who are under-resourced and need health care and additional support services.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Grant Writer: Lead the writing and submission of compelling funding proposals that align with the agency’s mission and goals, collaborating with key staff and community partners.
Grant Management: Oversee the full funding cycle, manage the annual grants calendar, identify opportunities, ensure timely submissions for applications and reports, and monitor compliance.
Agency Ambassador: Promote VNA/ESN’s mission and role and develop and foster strong relationships within the organization and community.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience: Minimum of five years of nonprofit fundraising and grant writing experience in private, public, and corporate sectors.
Education: Master’s degree in social work, Public Administration, or a similar field preferred. A bachelor’s degree with significant experience will also be considered.
Skills: Proven skills in grant writing, grant management, budget development, and developing strategic relationships with funders, and working collaboratively with staff.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals.
