Thank you to everyone who celebrated our momentous anniversary with us at Joslyn Castle on April 28.
We look forward to the next 125 years of serving our community.
In 1896, Anna Millard Rogers founded Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) to bring healthcare and support into the streets and homes of Omaha. She saw people living in poverty who were sick and injured with no access to healthcare, and she delivered care directly to them.
125 years later, VNA continues to provide care wherever people call home — for some, that’s a homeless shelter, for others, it’s an apartment or a home where they want to remain independently. For our community, it means providing access to healthcare and supportive services for those who are uninsured and under resourced.
Mayor Jean Stothert congratulates VNA nurses on our dedication to providing community care throughout our organization’s 125 years.
A special thank you to the sponsors that made this event possible!
